Lições de empreendedorismo para pós-graduandos.

Esse post visa apresentar algumas iniciativas de promoção do empreendedorismo junto a jovens pesquisadores, sejam pós-graduandos ou pós-doutorandos. Algumas universidades norte-americanas e européias estão difundindo a cultura empreendedora por meio de programas que preparem os participantes para os desafios da abertura de um novo negócio. Em geral esses programas apresentam de pequenos módulos sobre aspectos relacionados à propriedade intelectual, marketing tecnológico, finanças, negociação, prospecção de recursos, entre outros. Os exemplos abaixo, embora desenhados para a área de saúde, podem ser ajustados para centros de pesquisa em outras áreas.

Abaixo uma iniciativa da Universidade de Oxford para promover empreendimentos de base tecnológica na área de saúde. É o programa MEDICAL INNOVATION, que funciona da seguinte forma: sete encontros semanais, às quartas-feiras ao fim da tarde, onde especialistas apresentam dicas para pesquisadores e profissionais de saúde interessados em gerar negócios a partir de suas descobertas e potenciais inovações. Abaixo uma descrição.

What is it? 'Medical Innovation' is a free seven-week evening lecture course beginning in January 2009. It explores the challenges of innovation within complex healthcare organisations, and provides nuts-and-bolts advice for healthcare professionals and researchers to build businesses around their innovative ideas. The course provides insights into what makes a good medical innovation, how to develop it and how to make it successful.Who should attend? Anyone with an interest in healthcare innovation including:

• Hospital and General Practitioners
